The VW Corrado was designed and built by Karmann Coachworks, in Osnabrück, Germany, modelled around the floor plan of a Mk2 Golf. The sleek design and quality of the build aimed to satisfy the demand for 2+2 coupes. Which produced a true sports coupe.
